Hi, I’m Erin.
I help adults with ADHD find peace in a loud world.
My goal as a therapist is to meet you where you are. We’ll work towards healing, understanding, and making peace with your uniquely wired brain.
I work primarily with ADHDers - some of whom are also Autistic (AuDHD) and/or have learning differences like Dyslexia - and I’m passionate about providing neurodivergent-affirming care. This approach views neurodivergence (ND) not as a flaw but rather a distinct brain difference with its own strengths and challenges.
I’ve worked in the mental health field as a licensed clinical social worker for 15 years.
I’ve seen a lot.
I didn’t start out working with adults with ADHD; in fact, the focus during most of my career was with children + families.
I completed my graduate training at adolescent residential treatment facilities, worked on an Intensive In-home team providing home-based family therapy for many years, and was a “liaison-teacher-counselor” at a state-run residential school, helping families in need of intensive mental health and educational support.
I enjoyed working with families in crisis, meeting them where they were with loving kindness and a steady hand, instead of the judgement and fear they were used to.
Over time, as my own family grew, I longed for a slower pace of life and a more flexible schedule. With those goals in mind, I opened my own practice in 2021 and set out to serve folks who were looking for a different kind of therapy.
I’d spent the previous 18 years (since my own diagnosis) learning about ADHD and found myself married to a partner with ADHD and raising ND children. It was a no-brainer to focus on the issue that seemed to consume every aspect of my life. Many of my early clients were either newly diagnosed or questioning, and I loved being a soft place for them to land.
Nowadays, it seems like everyone is talking about Adult ADHD. Specifically in women (finally!), and even more specifically in the two groups in which I am most interested: new mothers and perimenopausal women. It’s such an exciting time to be doing this work - and, as cheesy as it sounds, I’ve truly found my calling. While I’m passionate about women’s mental and physical health, I also enjoy working with men and couples.
Simply put: ADHDers, and the people who love them, are my people.
